First, take a walk through the famous Red Valley and Rose Valley, two of the most beautiful hiking spots in Cappadocia. These valleys are known for their colorful rock formations in red and pink tones. The walk is about 4 kilometers and offers amazing photo opportunities. Next, visit Cavusin Village, one of the oldest villages in the region. Explore its cave houses and visit the Church of St. John the Baptist, one of the biggest and oldest cave churches in Cappadocia.
After that, continue to a real Underground City, where people lived many years ago. You’ll see narrow tunnels, kitchens, wine cellars, and living rooms—all built under the ground. Then, stop at Pigeon Valley, where you’ll see pigeon houses carved into the cliffs. Enjoy beautiful views and learn why pigeons were important in Cappadocia's history.
